Script-based macro

You can conveniently set up script-based macros from a ready-made toolbox of commands. These commands include:

  • Keystroke. Type text into any application.
  • Mouse click.
  • Mouse move.
  • Activate/Move/Close/Minimize/Maximize window.
  • Launch program.
  • Open document.
  • Open folder.
  • Access web site.
  • Play sound.
  • Delay for an amount of time.
  • Random Delay.
  • Pause.
  • Run Macro.
  • Log to File.
Pause/Resume during recording Exclude the operations that you do not want to record or that are variable when they are played back. Playback will also be paused at the corresponding position.
Pause/Resume during playback Give you a chance to do other things during playback.
Repeat Repeat playback a certain number of times.
Set repeat count with global hot keys Set repeat count anywhere beside the main window of Journal Macro.
Intelligent playback Search for the target window intelligently and adjust the window position and size. It increases macro reuse greatly.
Ignore mouse clicks under Pulse mode Only play back keystrokes.
Play back Ctrl, Shift and Alt keystrokes immediately under Pulse mode Reduce the time spent on these keystrokes.
Edit default macro profile Specify the default settings for new macros.
Shortcut menu You can add the seldom-used macros to shortcut menus, which can be called anywhere in three ways.
Global hot key Most of the functions have their own global hot keys. You can also assign a global hot key to a macro.
Keystroke sequence trigger Macros can be called with keystroke sequence triggers.
Work only when specified window is in the foreground Journal Macro supports program-specific macros.
Auto run on startup Execute a macro on Journal Macro startup.
